The first vertical slash just screams "hey come backstab me" and whenever I got a swing out, I would get stunlocked by a longsword either way. I swapped it out for the Curved Dragon Greatsword, 400 base damage B-str S-dex scaling. I loved the damage on the Pursuers though. Just the speed and the R1 moveset makes it less viable in pvp.
